How we started

In a quaint moment of 1999, KUURAKU GROUP took root as a single yakitori restaurant nestled within a charming renovated private house. However, it was in the transformative year of 2013 that our story took an exciting turn. This was the year when KUURAKU GROUP expanded its wings to India, marking a significant chapter in our journey. With the launch of our Indian operations, we embarked on a mission to infuse the authentic flavors and vibrant cultural of Japan in India.

Seijiro Hirohama

Managing Director of Kuuraku India Pvt Ltd

Seijiro Hirohama

Business Management graduate from California State University, USA, joined KUURAKU GROUP in Japan. He heads the Global Business Department and is an Executive Chef and International Sake Sommelier. In 2016, he represented Japan in a UNESCO culinary competition.

Owner & CEO of Kuuraku Group Co. Ltd

Yuichi Fukuhara

Founded KUURAKU GROUP in 1999, running 30+ global restaurants and 6 educational outlets in Japan. His innovative HR system cultivates strong employee loyalty, gaining global recognition.

Kojiro Honda

CO-OWNER AND FOUNDER of Kuuraku India Pvt Ltd

Kojiro Honda

Kojiro Honda, a pioneering entrepreneur with a proven track record of founding successful ventures across Japan, India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. From Japanese restaurants to e-commerce, he has established a diverse portfolio of businesses, driving innovation and collaboration in international markets. With a keen focus on excellence and leadership, he continues to play a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering collaboration in the international business arena.

Vishal Jhunjhunwala

Director of Kuuraku India Pvt Ltd

Vishal Jhunjhunwala

Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics Mumbai graduate, has diverse experience in Petrochemical distribution and hospitality. He founded 3 Indo Japanese JV's, raising over USD3 million from Japanese investors (2005 - 2008). Specializing in automotive logistics, he developed a robust supply chain from Japan to India, unlocking significant value.
